Local schools and The Woodland Trust

November 2016: The Woodland Trust is running a scheme to plant saplings in schools and communities and we contacted our local schools to see if this was of interest to them.

To our delight Green Dragon Primary School and Gunnersbury School took up the offer and have ordered free tree and hedge packs which will be delivered to them in Spring 2017 ready for willing students to help plant and learn about nature as part of Science Week. The Green School will be sharing some of the trees with Green Dragon School when they arrive in a few months time.

Additional funding from DEFRA means that the scheme will be open for another 4 years so if there are any other schools interested do apply while you can.
